That’s right, the popular 790 Duke has made a comeback this year with all-new color options. The 790 Duke was released in 2017 and was a huge hit, selling over 29,000 units worldwide. In 2021, the 790 was replaced by the 890 Duke, these models were equipped with the updated LC8 engine and improved electronics.
The 790 Duke will be reintroduced to the market for 2023, KTM states in its press release: “The KTM 790 Duke neatly fills the gap between the KTM 390 Duke and the KTM 1290 Super Duke R EVO, offering unparalleled handling with powerful and exhilarating manners. . This leads us here at MM to believe that KTM Canada may be discontinuing the 890 Duke for 2023.
Rest assured that the 790 Duke will not be lacking in power or technology, as KTM claims that this re-introduced model has been updated with the most advanced and complete electronics package in the mid-range segment.
Standard features include:
– Cornering Sensitive Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC)
– ABS when cornering with SUPERMOTO mode
– 3 standard riding modes to quickly change the feel of the bike and the level of MTC
– 5-inch TFT color screen
– LED lighting front and rear
Optional features for the model include:
– Quickshifter+, which allows up and downshifts without a clutch
