SlickPic Photography Challenge: Food

SlickPic Photography Challenge: Food

Another week, another fun photography challenge! For the 12th week of their 52-week Photo Challenge, the folks of SlickPic are calling all foodies and photographers alike for a mouthwatering assignment. Whether it’s a beautifully plated dish or an action shot of a bustling kitchen, this is your chance to showcase your best food photos. Get creative with your food styling, angle and composition to make your audience’s mouths water with your stunning shots!

A big portion of food photography is about the artful arrangement of dishes to create visually appealing images. But that doesn’t mean you have to do a lot of food styling yourself to get great results. Likewise, you don’t need a fancy studio and gear to create delectable food photos. In this challenge, you can also take advantage of your capturing your favorites from your usual eat-out spots. So, if you have plans to go on a hearty lunch, fancy dinner, or cafe hopping, you might want to sneak in some food photography practice!
